A mild chile pepper with pale yellow, elongated pods that turn bright red when ripe. Grows abundantly on stocky plants with glossy, deep green leaves. Use for pickling, roasting, and fresh. It won an All America Selections award in 1941. Scoville Heat Units: 0-500. Peppers will turn from green to bright yellow to bright red when ripe. Harvest after peppers reach 4-6″.
